Rip It Good

"When you're knitting's going wrong,-you must rip it! When you're long-tail's just too long- you must rip it!"
So the other night when I was working on the Windsor Cardi I got about two-thirds of the way across 120 sts (in a lace pattern) and found a knot in my yarn. This was not one of those benign knots where the yarn has merely back up upon itself, this was two separate ends tied together. I took back the row, untied the knot and began knitting again with the new end. I finished the right side row and was working my way across the back when I encountered a frayed section of yarn. Seriously?! What the Bleep! I was about half-way across my row, so I took that row back to the beginning, cut the frayed section out of the yarn and began knitting again. Haven't had any problems since then, but it was definitely a Knit/Purl Bitches moment.
